Innosil® - Braided
In addition to the standard pharmaceutical grade, Innosil® - Braided is also available in food/beverage and industrial grades.
Compounds specifically designed for single use applications are catered for through our Disposil® range of products. Compounds with additives designed to reduce microbiological growth are also available. Information on both compounds are available upon request.
Translucent inner tube with a variety of reinforcement choices and outer skin colours allow product to retain the purity of the Innosil® Platinum Silicone grade hose liner whilst offering colour identification, usage flexibility and capability on the outside.
Innosil® Range
Innosil® - Tube Profiles
Innosil® is the silicone to specify where absolute quality is paramount. It is fully certificated, lot traceable Platinum Cured conforming to the requirements of USP Class 6, EP and FDA.
Innosil® Platinum Cured Silicone offers the highest levels of purity and clarity. A much ‘tighter’ surface cure produces a finished component having enhanced technical properties and a less sticky surface.
Innosil® is suitable for the most critical applications particularly for long term use in active drug production and associated pharmaceutical uses.
Innosil® - Hygienic
Creates a component where the only surface it is in contact with is the transferred medium, which is silicone. This is a state of the art moulding technology enabling production of ‘Crevice Free’ end terminations.
Allows for our ‘No Touch Technique’ to be employed during installation of the assembly on site. The sealing gasket and hose/tube are not only one piece, but are manufactured using exactly the same material allowing easy traceability.
The complete assembly can even be produced from exactly the same batch of silicone if required.
Innosil Hy-braid® Technology
What is Hy-Braid® and how does it benefit you?
Innosil Hy-Braid® is a new, chemically and mechanically enhanced version of multi filament polyester yarn developed over many years by our Research and Development team. It provides a stronger bond between the polyester filaments and the silicone whilst not imparting any leachable materials into critical product streams.
It enables the Innosil®-Braided range to operate at much higher pressures and removes the ‘cobra effect’ failures common in similar inferior products. Due to the superior operational efficiency of Innosil® - Braided our customers report increased capacity and production volume due to the hose operating at higher pressures.
Hy-Braid® also allows our ‘Crevice Free Moulding Technology’ to be used to create assemblies and manifolds with no hose tails or barbs which reduce the bore of the tube and reduce flow capability whilst retaining high pressure performance.
Quality

To eliminate any risk of cross-contamination, the purpose built Innosil® production facility runs only platinum-cured silicone for medical and pharmaceutical applications. Clean room conditions are monitored to ensure that a Class 7 standard is maintained. The facility complies with Federal Standard ISO14644.1 Class 7, as well as FDA, MCA and EP guidelines for good manufacturing practice (GMP), and we constantly look to refine our processes in order to stay at the forefront of the latest developments in technology.

Everything we do is rigorously checked and double-checked to ensure the final product consistently meets our own exacting demands, as well as yours. Traceability records are held for each order and should a customer wish to view the facility and records, this can be arranged. We are regularly audited by an independent quality assessor and we perform regular quality audits on our suppliers.
